Bleach away dark spots without the use of hydroquinone. This lightening
agent combines a wide variety of effective ingredients including Kojic
acid, known as an excellent bleach for individuals with darker or ethnic
skin.
Instead of using hydroquinone, Lightening Gel blends 3 %kojic acid, 8%
azelaic acid, 3% lactic and 3% glycolic acid polymers, ascorbic acid and
betacarotene in a unique liquid base.
Treated areas will dry out, flake and peel off over several weeks of
therapy. Irritation may occur. Typical results start between 3-6 weeks.
For tough areas of discoloration, expect 3-4 months of therapy.
Apply ONLY at night 2 hours prior to bedtime. Use a tiny drop on each
discolored area.
A test spot is recommended to rule out the possibility of excess
irritation.
Avoid exfoliants while using this product, including AHAs, enzymes,
retinoids (Vitamin A, retinal, Retin A, Renova) or Vitamin C on the areas
you are treating.
Use sunblock on treated areas.
People with thin or sensitive skin may want to consult a physician prior
to use.
